| New Getter Robo New Getter Robo is an alternate retelling of the original Getter Robo series. In this new version, humanity is under attack by frightning demonic creatures called Oni. The only thing able to stand up to this monstrous threat are the Getter robots. Created by Professor Saotome, the Getter robots harness the power of Getter Rays, which are the only things powerful enough to destroy the Oni. The strongest of them all is Getter Robo, and Saotome enlists in three men to pilot the Getters. They are martial artist Ryoma Nagare, crime boss Hayato Jin, and monk Benkei Musashibou. Together, they form the Getter team and band together to save Earth from the threat of the Oni. |
