| Kurau: Phantom Memory Kurau: Phantom Memory is a Science Fiction anime that begins when a a scientist named Dr. Amami is striving to create means of alternative energy. He eventually discovers the Rynex, which yields amazing results. However, his daughter Kurau suffers an accident on her 12th birthday when she is accidentally struck by a wave of Rynex energy. However, in the aftermath its discovered that the Rynex isn't just energy, but actually sentient organisms. His daughter is no longer herself, but a being under the control of these strange lifeforms. A Rynex cannot awaken longer than ten years, which results in Kurau's body being split into identical twins, both developing a symbiotic relationship. |
